My Birthday

I turned 31 on the 25th. Once again, Jason and I celebrated together (his birthday is the same day). Melody made my favorite: carrot cake using Mom’s recipe. Thanks to all of you that called, sent cards and emailed me.

Monday Night Football

Melody and I went to see the Rams and Bucs play at the Edward Jones Dome on Monday night! It was the first time Melody had ever attended a live NFL game. She really enjoyed it (especially since the Rams won). Now if I could only get here to watch football with me on Sundays! Here we are before the game.

Kaleb in Pre-School

Kaleb also started pre-school a couple of months ago. He attends Willott Road Christian Academy in St. Peter's, Missouri. His teacher is Mrs. Toll. Here she is with Kaleb one morning before school.

Soccer

Kaleb played soccer this year at the YMCA. I was surprised that they start them so young. He had a great time though.

Happy Graduation

Monika and Justin both graduated a few weeks ago. We are all very proud of them. They will be moving to Australia soon. Have we mentioned that we are going to miss you? :-)

We miss you Dad

Dad sent this picture a few days ago. We sure miss him. You look like you are in good shape. Huong must be taking good care of you!

Yard Work

Spring is definately in full swing. Even though I hate yard work, this is the right time to do it since the weather is still cool. We planted a couple of miniature pine trees in front of our entryway today. Kaleb, of course, helped. Here is is triumphantly displaying some mud.

Melody picked out the trees. She is quite proud of them. I guess we can officially call her a tree hugger.

Long Time...No Post

It's been way to long since the last post. Melody has been busy taking some great pictures, though. I'll hopefully have them uploaded this weekend.

This picture is for Nanna (Kaleb's nickname for Melody's mom, Monta). We all miss her and are looking forward to seeing her soon.

Monika and Justin

Justin (Melody's Brother-In-Law) is about to graduate from Duke with a Doctorate in Economics. We're all very excited for him. Justin was offered a position at The University of Adelaide in Australia. We found out over the weekend that he and Monika have decided to accept the position and move there. Selfishly, Melody and I were hopefull that they might land somewhere a little closer. But, we realize that this is an excellent opportunity.

I've decided to post a couple of my favorite Monika/Justin pictures from last year's reunion. We are going to miss you guys dearly. I can see an extended vacation in our future, though. We wish you the best.
