Looking back on ten years of marriage, I see two very different people. We had no idea on our wedding day what the future would hold. We are different today, but we grew together. It’s easy to see where marriage goes wrong. Change is inevitable. How you handle that change can be the difference between a long-term relationship and one that eventually becomes a bad memory.

I’m not saying that we have it all figured out. But I can proudly look back on the last ten years with no regrets. We are closer than ever. Our kids are amazing. We are truly blessed. I’m confident that the next ten will be even better.

I can’t thank Mike and Sherry enough for watching Myles during our Disney vacation. I know that people take babies to Disney all of the time, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Thanks to them, we didn’t have to subject Myles to hours in a stroller outside in the heat.

The adults got to ride the Rockin’ Rollercoster. That was a very fun Aerosmith themed ‘coaster. I’ll post a picture later.

Update: I didn’t get a picture of the Rockin’ Rollercoaster before we left. If we go back to that park before we leave, I’ll get a good shot.

Tomorrow starts our first family Disney vacation. I’m going to try some mobile blogging this week. We’ll see how it goes.

I’ve added a new feature to the blog. The picture on the right sidebar under “Search” is the latest photo that I uploaded from my iPhone. That way I can post some fun shots in real-time.

If you look closely at the picture, you’ll see that one of those hats “is not like the other”. Me managed to leave his hat in the truck, so we had to improvise with his Cardinals hat.

Lukas has his fair share of accidents. He has bad allergies, too. That turned out to be a bad combination this morning when his allergies made him sneeze. His head hit the corner of the open cabinet door! He’s fine now. No emergency room this time. Here’s what he had to say about his injury.

Myles has been very mobile lately. He’s more of a scooter than a crawler at this point. But he’s quite mobile nonetheless. Here’s a video of his crawling attempts from a few days ago.

Doug Whiteside is their coach. He’s also my neighbor. He and Tracy also have three boys that are very close in age to our three boys. He’s doing a great job with the kids and I appreciate the time he puts into this.

Mel and I got a good laugh when we saw that Ben made the cover. Ben is Kaleb’s best friend from school. The two of them are inseparable at times.

Luke was pretty impressed (or confused) by the whole event. I think this picture sums it up.

We had the party at The Little Gym. Having a structured party like this certainly saved Melody’s stress level. Of course, she made up for it by making a huge Batman cake!
