Happy New Year (almost)

It’s new years eve already. This year has certainly passed quickly. Our thoughts and prayers are will all of our family and friends on the dawn of this new year. We miss and love all of you.
We had a request for a picture with just Melody, me and the boys, so here it is. [...]

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas! This is what our house looked like this morning (still does actually). Dan (my youngest brother) is spending the holiday with us. We all opened gifts this morning.
Melody got me a foosball table this year! Let the foosball tournaments begin.
This picture is a shot from my webcam. Since most of our family is [...]

Nanna’s House

This last weekend we visited Melody’s Mom (Monta Breeden, a.k.a Nanna) for Christmas. We all had a terrific time. There are new pictures in the gallery. Or you can view a slideshow of all Christmas 2003 pictures so far.
This picture is Monika (Melody’s sister), her husband Justin and Lukas. Monika and Justin live in [...]

Christmas with Dan, Matt, Jen and Family

We had Chrismas last night with Matt, Jen, Eli, Malichi, Gracie and Uncle “sleepy” Dan. Mel and I had a great time. There are more pictures in the gallery. The kids (and adults) opened presents since we won’t see each other on Christmas (except for Dan).

Website Move Successful

I successfully completed the website transfer to phpwebhosting.com. I thought it would be safer to pay $10 per month to have it hosted instead of hosting on my cable modem. If anyone has any problems with accessing the site, let me know.

Winter Wonderland

We had a bit of a winter wonderland this weekend. Kaleb and I played in the snow. It was too dry to make a good snowman, though. Check out more pictures in the gallery.

A Great Quote

I love great quotes. This one one made me think of my mom.
“I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library.” –Jorge Luis Borges
I couldn’t resist this one either.
“Outside of a dog, a book is a man’s best friend. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.” –Groucho Marx

The Title Picture

Melody thought it would be good to explain the picture I used for the main index page. That’s a picture I took while Mom, JT and I were at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. I am pointing north. If you could follow the picture further north and east, around the peninsula, you would run into [...]

Good Enough for Government Work

The site is finally ready to go live. There are still things I’d like to do:

power backup on edge router
update DNS
more than one image on recent pics (more PERL programming)
copy Lubrano’s “What I’m Reading..” stuff (nice job on your site Mike)
archives section on index page
more work on Gallery plugin (generalize it for sharing)
“Web Log” on [...]

The Obligatory Lorem Ipsum Post

If you want to know what this is email me. I’d be happy to explain it.
